A Stroke Can Lead to Nirvana?

According to Jill Bolte Taylor, the answer is a definite, "Yes." After a 1993 stroke left this medical professor in "LaLa Land," she was forced to relearn how to think and to live. In the process, and with her mother's help, she discovered a whole new side of herself. As she developed her right brain's capacity to think holistically and intuitively, she also experienced a deeper sense of compassion and interconnectedness that she has come to see in spiritual terms.
