Red Wine and Age Reversal — Cheers!

The health benefits of an occasional glass of red wine have been pretty well established, and recent studies are taking another step by identifying the specific natural compounds in red wine that are responsible for these benefits and linking these compounds to reversal of biological age markers.

These studies show that natural compounds such as resveratrol can stimulate the body's survival mechanisms in much the same way as calorie restriction, thereby reducing the likelihood of age-related degenerative processes.
